I found the battery life to be acceptable on the tx I think that it would help us both get pavilipn traffic. The viewing angles are average, but can be awkward depending on how the tablet is tilt, sometimes making it very hard to read because the colors bleed. If you want more battery life, I recommend getting the 8-cell battery for longer computing times. I found that the thermal paste had, over time, dispersed itself from the centre of the processsor and worked its way to the outside.
